Solar Cooling, The Jožef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana
On the flat roof of the building, JSI has implemented a pilot project of solar cooling. The installed adsorption chiller uses vacuum solar energy receivers as heat source. Waste heat is returning into the environment through a wet cooling tower. Cooling is arranged on the premises of the existing laboratories (via air coolers integrated in existing ventilation system).
